ZMK Terms / Privacy Notice

Newsletter terms

By selecting “Keep Me Updated,” you agree to receive ZMK development and launch news. GoDaddy Email Marketing will send a confirmation message, and your address is not added until you confirm it. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.

Privacy notice

ZMK collects only the email address you submit through the Follow the Journey form, along with basic technical information needed to prevent abuse. It is used to send ZMK development and launch news.

GoDaddy Email Marketing processes the signup and sends a confirmation message. Your address is not added until you confirm it. ZMK does not sell newsletter signup data. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter.

Analytics and privacy choices

With your permission, ZMK uses Google Analytics to understand visits, approximate regions, referral sources, device and browser types, pages viewed, scrolling, outbound links and successful newsletter submissions. ZMK does not send your email address or form contents to Google Analytics, and advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled.

Analytics remains off unless you select “Allow analytics.” Your choice is stored only in your browser and can be changed at any time. You can also review Google’s privacy policy.

Campfire privacy

Campfire is one public gathering. While you are there, ZMK temporarily stores a random guest identifier and your Spark’s position, appearance and expression so other visitors can see you. Your view always includes your own Spark and no more than 99 others; when more than 100 people are present, a stable random selection keeps each view to 100 rendered Sparks. Campfire has no usernames, chat, profile or file uploads, and inactive Spark records expire automatically after about twenty seconds.

A private session token is stored only in the open page, and your chosen Spark appearance may be saved in this browser. Story narration and sound settings remain individual to each visitor.

Music is provided by YouTube. Campfire does not connect to YouTube until you choose to play the music; YouTube’s own privacy terms then apply to that player.
